Synopsis:
Morgan Edge lies comatose in a hospital bed. One of his doctors conspires with Mannheim to kill the patient. Meanwhile, Edge dreams of meeting Metron and Desaad. He also recalls events from his own past including the death of his mother by the hand of his father. As Doctor Calchi tries to kill Edge, the Black Racer appears and kills the doctor. The other doctor act to save Edge, who remains alive but comatose.
