Chapter One

This story continues in Action Comics Weekly #619.

Synopsis:
Deadman sees three men in a graveyard carrying shovels. Upon closer inspection he sees that two of the men are dead. The other is voodoo king Wellman Legros, who orders his zombies to unearth the body of Cosgrove, a recently deceased cop. The trio take the body back to Legros's lair. A ritual is then performed which turns Cosgrove into a zombie.

Deadman enters the body of the newly created zombie and tries to apprehend Legros. When the other zombies catch him, Deadman discovers that he is unable to leave the zombie's body.
