Synopsis:
An unnamed Green Lantern is struck down and killed by a pirate on a desert world. The pirate takes the ring from the Green Lantern's corpse. He attempts to use the ring to cut a yellow cactus which fails. He then tries to fly, but a yellow dust cloud stops him. Further attempts to use the ring fail, so he discards it.
