Synopsis:
The Suicide Squad carries a powerful bomb into the Louisiana bayou to destroy the Manhunter temple. Along the way they meet Captain Atom who was sent by General Eiling. Instead of competing with the Squad as Eiling intended, Captain Atom joins them on their mission. When Firestorm blocks their way, Captain Atom leaves the group to fight him.
The Squad then encounters a large number of Manhunter androids. Bronze Tiger is injured and must be left behind. Slipknot runs away and triggers his explosive wristband. The explosion rips his arm off. The others continue onward until Karin Grace reveals herself as a Manhunter agent.
Karin was recruited by the Manhunters after a mission in Cambodia went bad. She fell in love with Shaw and joined the Manhunters. Shaw, however, explains that he was in prison at the time. An android Manhunter reveals that he was impersonating Shaw. Karin is ordered to kill Flag, but her loyalties remain torn. Suddenly, the Manhunter androids collapse. Karin then carries the bomb inside the temple and detonates it.
