Synopsis:
Salakk has overcome the brainwashing that was done to him by the Solar Council. He intends to join forces with the Breakers, but his compassion for Iona Vane calms his anger. He summons Hal and Arisia from the past to help negotiate a peace.

An agreement is reached which will give the Breakers a world of their own to colonize. At the last moment, Ub'x speaks out against the deal. He rallies the Breakers to his cause. Instead of escalating to a war, the Green Lanterns arrange for a more personal duel. Ch'p sides with Ub'x.

Ch'p and Ub'x then battle Hal and Salakk with the future of the Breakers in the balance. Hal and Salakk triumph. Hal forces both sides to accept the original agreement. Ub'x elects to stay in the future to help the Breakers with colonization. Salakk also stays behind with Iona Vane. Ch'p feels guilty over his betrayal. He decides to leave Earth and returns to his own world.
