Comments:
This story is continued from Warlord #120 and continues in Warlord Annual #6.
Synopsis:
Warlord and an army from Shamballah meet General G'Barr and his invading army. Warlord manages to dismount G'Barr and question him. He then calls a halt to the fighting. G'Barr claims that Shamballah has attacked his lands, but Morgan is able to convince him otherwise.
Elsewhere, Jennifer Morgan and Power Girl learn about the demon Azmyrkon whom Kara accidentally released. The demon is seeking to gather the three pieces of a broken scepter with which he can utilize his full power. The heroines are unable to stop the demon from acquiring the first piece.
In the dungeons of Kiro, Tara makes her escape. Y'smalla continues to masquerade as Tara.
Morgan sets out in search of the raiding army. Instead he finds soldiers with advanced technology sent by DeSaad. The Warlord battles them, but he is knocked unconscious. When he recovers only one soldier remains, and DeSaad kills him before he can talk.
