Comments:
This story is continued from Warlord #119 and continues in Warlord #121.

Synopsis:
Warlord battles the assassins of the Kraken Pentacle. They claim to be working for Machiste, but Morgan does not believe it. He escapes from their stronghold and returns to Shamballah which has fallen under attack from the forces of Kiro. Morgan fights them off, but he refuses to order counterstrikes until he knows more.

In Kiro, Machiste's advisors tell him of attacks by the forces of Shamballah. Machiste also finds the claims dubious, but the advisors present him with proof. Both attacks were perpetrated by Y'smalla who is trying to start a war between the two kingdoms.

Jennifer Morgan is alerted to a recently unleashed evil. When she investigates she finds Power Girl in the thrall of a demon. She frees Kara from its control, but the demon escapes.
