Synopsis:
When a flooding river trap a farmer's wife and her baby on a small island, Hop and Ikky take their planes to rescue her. Ikky's rival Canvasback Kelly has landed his own plane on the island but cannot take off again. Hop takes the woman and her child off the island, leaving Ikky to take Kelly home. Before takeoff the two pilots get into a fist fight. Kelly is forced to fly them off the island because Ikky is knocked out.
Hop brings Mrs. Brown to the doctor. She needs medicine from the city hospital immediately. Kelly has taken Ikky to the hospital and promises to bring the medicine. However, Ikky recovers and starts another fight. This time neither pilot can fly, so one of the doctors flies Ikky's plane to the airfield to deliver the medicine.
After the success of the rescue, Hop and Ikky are able to promote their small planes. Ikky demonstrates the use of the plane to some farmers who want to use them as cropdusters.
