Synopsis:
Jay and Joan attend a rodeo and witness Jack Crofts thrown from a steer. Jay uses his speed to prevent Jack from being impaled. He also discovers grease and poison on the steer’s horns. Jay decides to follow Jack as the Flash to find out who wants him dead. Flash stops the killers when they strike again and learns that Jack’s father has discovered oil.

Flash follows Jack to his father’s farm. Mr. Benton, a gangster, is behind the murder attempts as he wants the oil for himself. Flash protects the Crofts from harm and helps them find oil. Benton starts an oil fire, so Flash uses his speed to create a vaccuum and extinguish the fire. Benton is turned over to the sheriff, and the Crofts oil well is a success.
