Synopsis:
Munitions manufacturer N.N. Osgood vows to help the war effort by selling to the government at cost. Two members of his company are upset that they will not profit, so they hire foreign agents to kill Osgood. Dr. Mid-Nite stops the attempted murder then investigates the crime.

The profiteers try to get Osgood again. This time they frame him for murder and try to get him to flee the country. Dr. Mid-Nite foils their plan and gets them to sign a confession. He reveals the truth to Osgood just before the businessman leave the country.
