Synopsis:
Zatara prevents a gang of crooks from hijacking a shipment of gold aboard a train. John West, a railroad official, gives him a ticket to the Carson City baseball game. There, he witnesses one of the railroad bandits pay off a pitcher to throw the game. Zatara uses his magic to keep the game a tie. The gangsters try to kill him, but Zatara forces them to lead him to their masked boss known as the Menace. After escaping a trap, Zatara captures the gang and exposes the leader as John West the railroad official.
