This story is continued from the fourth story of Action Comics #600.

Synopsis:
Man-Bat enters the caverns outside Millersburg where he discovers a feverish Superman instead of his bat friends. Suffering from Kryptonite poisoning, the Man of Steel is delusional and begins to attack Man-Bat fearing that he is a monster. Langstrom tries to communicate with Superman, but his efforts fail. A fight ensues inside the caverns. Superman gets the upper hand and is about to strike Man-Bat with a stalactite, when his fever breaks. He recognizes Langstrom and halts the attack. Man-Bat then brings Superman to Hawkman for help.
