Comments:
This story takes place in Towers City.

Synopsis:
Several people in Towers City are struck down by a mysterious condition which causes them to grow old in moments. One of the afflicted men reached Dr. Mid-Nite for help. When Dr. Mid-Nite arrives in the city, he sees a man suspiciously leaving money near a tree. The man is banker Jim Olcott who is being blackmailed.

Dr. Mid-Nite investigates and learns that the crooks have threatened to age Olcott if he does not pay. The hero locates the crooks and nearly falls victim to the device which ages men. Instead, the crooks are exposed and die from old age. Dr. Mid-Nite then locates the inventor of the device who believes he can reverse the process on those already afflicted.
