Synopsis:
Perry White has uncovered evidence against politician Jay Falk. He has attacked Falk in a series of Daily Planet articles and intends to see the reputed mobster put behind bars. To silence Perry Falk kidnaps Perry's teenaged son Jerry, who has been rebeling against his father as part of a street gang. Falk demands that Perry print a retraction or he will kill Jerry.

Superman learns that Jerry is in trouble. He confronts Falk, but he is unable to learn where Jerry is being held. He begins questioning Falk's associates which leads him to Louie Lyppe. Superman disguises himself as a bar brawler named Bibbo to get information from Lyppe. He then rescues Jerry.

When Superman returns Jerry to his home, the teenager is angry with his father for putting his integrity ahead of his family.
