Synopsis:
Hans Von Hammer receives a new batch of men to fill his squadron. One of the men is Heinrich Muller, a man who attended flight school with Von Hammer. A disagreement between the men sparked a duel between Muller and Von Hammer with the latter earning a scar. Muller was cold blooded. He shot down an unarmed French plane during his first flight.

Now Von Hammer and Muller fly together. When an English pilot runs out of ammunition he throws his arms in the air. Von Hammer does not shoot, but Muller does. Distracted, Von Hammer's plane is then shot down. Muller flies close, allowing the Enemy Ace to pull out of his doomed plane. However, when attempting to land, Muller is killed. Somehow, his plane lands safely, allowing Von Hammer to survive.
