Synopsis:
Arak and his companions prepare for war against the dragon which menaces Canton harbor. They rig a giant crossbow onto the Karama, while Haakon prepares his own ship to go after the beast. Before setting sail, Arak finds Valda attacking the old man who is Mu-Lan's grandfather. From him, she has taken an elixir of immortality. She then summons the dragon.
Arak goes after the sorceress using his newfound shaman abilities to aid him. Satyricus protects the old man who seems distracted by a toy dragon kite. Meanwhile the dragon destroys Haakon's ship, killing him and Mu-Lan. The Karama is able to use the crossbow to fire upon the dragon, but it is struck by the creature's tail. The captain and crew barely survive.
The old man's kite is used to summon a dragon spirit which slays Angelica's dragon before returning to the clouds. Arak then drags the sorceress to shore. The evil woman grabs Valda at swordpoint, but Brunello is able to help her using his ring of invisibility. The old man then traps Angelica in an enchanted mirror. With the sorceress trapped inside, Arak smashes the mirror.
