George Kale, the president of Lightning Motors, hires men to sabotage the other contestants, allowing his niece to win. Batman helps the stricken drivers and stops the saboteurs. A masked contestant, who turns out to be Marty Steele, wins the race. He awards the money to the second place finisher, a blind man, Roy Damon.
