Synopsis:
Coin dealer Mark Medallion has pieced together clues to the location of several legendary treasures. He offers to split the fortune with various treasure hunters if they retrieve the rare coins. Lucky Smith and his gang hijack the treasure hunters and take the coins for themselves. Then they confront Medallion and force him to hand over his maps.

Batman and Robin try to stop the crooks, but they fail. They use another copy of the treasure maps to locate the crooks again in the Louisiana bayou. This time Batman defeats the crooks and retrieves the gold. However, he notices that each coin is identical. When he returns to meet Medallion, he accuses the dealer of casting the coins himself from a load of stolen gold bullion. Medallion surprises Batman with a trap, but the Caped Crusader eventually outwits him.
