Synopsis:
An archaeological expedition unearths a tomb from the Quetzatlan. When light penetrates the interior of the tomb, the people inside are restored to life. Superman meets the empress and her councilor and learns that a machine, activated by the light, will remake the world into that of the Quetzatlan civilization. Superman shows the empress the wonders of the 20th century. She then decides to stop the machine, thus sparing the modern world and denying her own people immortality.
