Synopsis:
Lois Lane is demoted to weather reporter after she fails to deliver on a story. Clark Kent vows to help her. He follows up on the story of Joe Parkus, a sporting goods store owner who is being targeted by racketeers. Joe's wife has been kidnapped by Ed Rook. The crook then forces Joe to buy goods at high prices that he can't sell.

Superman finds Joe's wife, but instead of rescuing her, he helps Joe. Superman has Lois write phony weather reports, then he makes her predictions come true. With Superman creating unseasonal weather conditions, Joe is able to sell his out-of-season goods to the public. Joe then uses the money to save his business and free his wife. Superman then apprehends the crooks.
