Synopsis:
Lois and Clark investigate some ghost sightings near the Hudson River. The local people are not anxious to speak to the reporters, but they locate Miss Casey, a writer working on a book about old legends.

While Casey tells Lois and Clark about the local lore, they are attacked by legendary indians. Clark becomes Superman and exposes the indians as fakes, but he must let them escape in order to save Lois and Casey.

Lois and Casey are attacked again later by a ghost ship. Superman disguises himself as one of the legendary Heer and sinks the ghost ship. He rescues the girls, then exposes the hoaxers. The ghosts were the fabrications of Burton Crowther who wanted to scare people away while he searched for a lost treasure. Superman finds the treasure and turns it over to charity. Crowther and the others are taken to prison for attempted murder.
