Synopsis:
Actor James Trevor seeks to repair his failing career. Doctor Menace, a plastic surgeon, offers to restore Trevor's good looks. However, Menace really has criminal intent and transforms Trevor into a hideous man. Menace then blackmails Trevor into robbing his Hollywood friends as Adonis.

Clark Kent and Lois Lane are in Hollywood to research a story. They attend several parties where the robberies take place. Police begin to suspect Clark's involvement and follow him. The surveilance makes it difficult for him to become Superman.

When Menace thinks that Trevor will betray him, he shoots him. The actor lives long enough to take down Menace with him. With the crooks exposed, Clark is cleared by police.
