Synopsis:
Batman, Robin, and Superman bring a new partner, Tigerman, into battle with them against the Purple Legion, a gang of crooks using military precision in their crimes. Tigerman gives orders to the crimefighters which allow the crooks to escape. During their next encounter with the Legion Tigerman once again blunders and knocks out Batman and Robin.

The crooks realize that Tigerman is a bumbling fool, so they capture him and try to get him to reveal the secret identities of the heroes. Tigerman is revealed to be Superman, having been replaced himself by a robot. The ruse allowed him to get near General Grambly, the leader of the Purple Legion, so they can be stopped permanently.
