Synopsis:
A man wearing a lead mask, calling himself Mento, shows up in Metropolis with the power to read minds. He uses his ability to learn Superman’s secret identity and help crooks. Superman is forced to leave criminals alone because Mento threatens to reveal his secret. News spreads about Mento and gang leaders flock to Metropolis. Mento gathers them together on a boat which Superman delivers to the police. Mento is revealed to be Perry White pulling a hoax in order to capture the crooks.
