Synopsis:
Aliens from the planet Voltran create a double of Superman which is exact in every way except one. It does not possess his super-powers. The aliens embed the double with a chip which transfers feelings to the real Man of Steel. When the imposter feels pain or other sensory perceptions, so does Superman.

Superman catches his double trying to break into the Fortress of Solitude. Since he is unable to break the link between them, the Man of Steel imprisons the imposter in the Fortress. When the double realizes that he is not the real Superman he kills himself using a metal melting blaster which dissolves the chip in his head. Superman feels a moment of pain, then the link between he and his double is broken forever.
