Part II:"The Slimming of Superman"

Synopsis:
Clark Kent is selected to test a new Mars lander in a simulated environment. While inside, Clark suddenly begins growing larger and gaining weight. To cover his transformation, Clark lifts the lander into space. Superman then returns to Earth.

The Man of Steel is now obese. An alien appears and explains that the space nectar Superman consumed after helping his planet is responsible for the sudden growth. Superman then works vigorously to lose the weight quickly. He comes up with an excuse to protect his secret identity from Lois and loses most of the weight before the next morning.

When the morning arrives Superman is scheduled to open a government vault which is keyed to his precise size and weight. Since he has not yet reached his normal weight, the Man of Steel uses anti-grav disks to offset the difference. The vault, containing the Nullifier which can deactive weapons within a large radius, is then opened. With his mission a success, Superman gets to work to lose the remaining weight.
