Synopsis:
On the remote island Remora, General Satanta has enslaved men to collect the rare Zykk flower which can be used to make illegal nerve gas. One of the slaves, Pancho, brings hope by telling the others about Superman. When the guards find out they humiliate him by dressing him in a Superman costume and chaining him to a rock wall.

The real Superman discovers a large number of Zykk flowers floating in the ocean which Pancho dumped before he was caught. He discovers the situation on Remora and takes Pancho's place. While Superman toys with Satanta and his men, who believe he is Pancho, the real slave leader is delusional. He begins believing he has super powers forcing Superman to protect him. Eventally Satanta is chased away, Pancho regains his wits, and Superman leaves him on Remora as a guardian of justice.
