Synopsis:
Carter Hall witnesses the kidnapping of scientist Pratt Palmer, inventor of a cold light weapon. Carter is shot, but not killed, and he suspects that the kidnappers intentionally let him live. As the Hawkman, Carter tracks down the kidnappers. He learns that Palmer was working with them all along and intends to use his weapon for crime. Hawkman defeats the crooks and turns the cold light weapon over to the War Department.
