Synopsis:
B. Drexel Rutherford is approached by a man claiming he can cause rain. The man attempts to blackmail Rutherford, but the business owner refuses. The rainmaker then proves his power by creating storms which damage Rutherford's business.
Rutherford tells his story to Clark Kent after Superman rescues him. The Rainmaker threatens to break a local dam, so Superman goes into action. He is unable to stop the dam from bursting, but he does divert the water. Superman then saves Lois who is held hostage by the criminal.
