Synopsis:
Dr. Fate stops an art museum robbery, but the mastermind of the gang, Mr. Who, escapes with a valuable painting. Fate trails the gang back to Mr. Who’s lab, but he is unable to subdue Who because the criminal has taken Solution Z, which bestows him him super-human powers.

Fate is left to the mercy of a giant spider while Who attempts to steal a famous diamond. After freeing himself from the spider, Dr. Fate prevents the robbery and apparently throws Mr. Who to his doom at the bottom of the ocean.
