Synopsis:
The forces of Baron Thorvald capture Captain Olaf. Jon is given three days to surrender himself, or Thorvald will kill Olaf. Jon's first attempt to rescue Olaf using a direct approach fails. When he notices Thorvald's spy Sardluk, Jon prepares another ploy.
Jon pretends to find the Hammer of Thor which is capable of smashing anything. Sardluk takes the information back to Thorvald, who agrees to trade Olaf for the hammer. During the exchange, Thorvald betrays the agreement, but then learns the hammer is a fake.
Jon makes his escape, but his route is cut-off. Thorvald challenges Jon to single combat. When Jon gets the upper hand, Thorvald orders an archer to disarm his opponent. Thorvald then wields the hammer and prepares to strike Jon. A lightning bolt from the sky is attracted to the hammer and stuns Thorvald. Jon makes his escape with Olaf in the confusion that follows.
