Synopsis:
Due to a defective Legion time bubble, Superman has aged into an old man after using it to travel 120,000 years into the future. The Time Trapper has also blocked Superman's return to his own time. In the future Metropolis, the Man of Steel soon learns that use of super powers have been banned after a war between three super powered being destroyed most of the environment. When Superman uses his powers anyway to prevent a perceived accident, he is exiled to Diodn, a planet for aged super-heroes.

The heroes exiled to this world have lost much of their power and only take joy in watching their own exploits on film. When the mayor of Metropolis visits and asks for their assistance, the old men refuse. Superman encourages the old heroes to help and show what they are still capable of doing. Under Superman's leadership, the old heroes save Metropolis, and the law banning super powers is repealed.

After the crisis is over, rather than remain in this time period, Superman travels farther into the future.
