Synopsis:
Mark Merlin visits his ornithologist friend Jim Prescott. Prescott introduces Mark to Saar and Koog, two Plutonian ornithologists who have briefly stopped on Earth with their alien Wok bird. After the meeting the aliens make to depart, but the Wok bird begins attacking them. Elsa is taken by the bird as a hostage, while Mark and Saar try to stop it. Mark realizes that Koog is controlling the bird in attempt to kill Saar. Mark finds the whistle Koog used and is able to tame the bird. Saar then takes Koog back to his planet in custody.
