This story features two topper strips entitled "Why Big Brothers Leave Home". These represent Scribbly's comic strip and are based on ideas sent in by fans.

Synopsis:
Scribbly visits the set of a radio program. While waiting for the show to begin he meets two children and begins drawing pictures for them. A crowd gathers. Scribbly thinks that it is his artwork that has grabbed attention. When the children leave, so does the crowd. Scribbly then learns that the children were famous actors.

Sometime later, Ving Parker escorts Scribbly to a cartoonist's dinner. The event is broadcast over the radio. Scribbly sends greetings to his family during an interview.
