Synopsis:
Black Canary gives Johnny Thunder a package to guard, then disappears. Gangsters steal the package from Johnny, but he follows them back to the hide-out. Johnny is captured and lowered into a crocodile pit. Black Canary is also apprehended and put in the pit. Johnny and the Canary escape and retrieve the contents of the package. It contained a stuffed owl with a diary hidden inside. Johnny turns the diary over to the police, since it contains evidence that will convict the gangsters. Black Canary disappears again, but leaves a note for Johnny.
