Comments:
The flame dragon in this story is hatched from an egg of the original dragon seen in the third story of Superman #142.

Synopsis:
A Kryptonian flame dragon is captured by Superman after it terrorizes the world. He is biten by the creature before taking back in time. Lois Lane tries to prove Clark is Superman by examining Clark’s hand for bite marks, but the Man of Steel has gone to Kandor and healed his hand. Lois is therefore unable to prove Superman’s secret identity.
