Synopsis:
In the 19th century, Jim and Sairy Shiner search for the treasure left behind by a bandit that they nursed back to health. The couple is killed by highwayman Ike Coffey who also dies without discovering the gold. Almost a century later, the Shiner's descendant Elby discovers a clue which leads him to the treasure.

Elby and his son Pat take the gold to the bank in the nearby town of Hondo. Pat is later kidnapped, and Elby receives a ransom note. Rod Gaynor and Marisa Dillon are visiting Hondo at the time. Rod gets involved as the Whip and rescues Pat from Casper Fleece, the kidnapper.
