Synopsis:
Chuck is summoned to the laboratory of Professor Trippe, a scientist he once studied under. Trippe claims to have invented a machine capable of teleportation. Before he can finish explaining the new machine, a monster appears. Trippe then dies of a heart attack. While the Blackhawks battle the energy creature, Chuck studies the professor's notes. He determines that the creature was created as a side-effect of the machine. He finds a way to reverse the process, sending the creature back to where it originated.
