Synopsis:
Rip, Bonnie, and Corky take a Time Sphere to ancient Italy and meet Leonardo Da Vinci. Da Vinci has sealed a powerful explosive into an unbreakable container set to open in the year 2550. Jervis, a professor’s assistant that had joined Rip on the mission, betrays the team and steals the Time Sphere. Jeff arrives in another Sphere and rescues his teammates then they head for the year 2550 to stop Jervis.

Rip is ambushed and captured in the future, but he befriends a provincial mayor who has been imprisoned by Jervis and his future partners. The team breaks Rip out of prison and successfully stops Jervis. The container opens and the explosive is released on schedule. The mayor promises to disarm it while Rip and the team return home.

The team is intercepted however by a Venusian spaceship. They reveal that they created the bomb and sent it to Earth to stop a runaway moon from colliding with Earth. Rip returns to meet the mayor again. They rocket the bomb to its intended destination, preventing the destruction of the Earth.
