Synopsis:
Linda Lee meets a new resident of Midvale, Lena Thorul. Lena possesses ESP and becomes Linda’s friend. When Lena is rejected for a job at the FBI, Linda decides to find out why her friend was rejected as Supergirl.

Supergirl learns that Lena has no record of her past. The Girl of Steel flies back in time to find out what happened and learns that Lena is Lex Luthor’s kid sister. Her name was changed long ago to protect the family from Lex’s shame. Lena was told her brother died in a climbing accident and has no knowledge about Lex’s survival. Supergirl also views Lena gain her ESP ability from a space-brain that Lex was experimenting with.

Lex Luthor learns through the criminal grapevine that his sister has joined a gang of bank robbers. He alerts Supergirl because he wants to protect his sister. Supergirl finds that Lena has joined the gang, but only to trap them to impress the FBI. The Girl of Steel also decides it is best to keep Lena’s heritage a secret.
