Synopsis:
Superman constructs a mysterious island in the ocean that is shaped like himself. He will not allow anyone to land on the island and won’t explain the purpose of it to anyone. Lois Lane investigates and believes Professor Vanley knows why it has been built.

Lois hires some men to take her to the island. The men are really criminals, and they try to break into a vault Superman has on the island. Lois warns Superman and tells him that Vanley has injured recently.

Superman leaves the crooks behind and takes Lois to the mainland where he meets with Vanley. The professor explains that Superman was gathering Kryptonite on the island because the scientist thought it could be used as a power source. His experiments proved this to be incorrect, so Superman returns to the island and throws it and the gathered Kryptonite into space. The crooks were removed first by police helicopters.
