Synopsis:
Luthor has invented a enlarger machine which can be used to enlarge a speck of Kryptonite dust into a large piece. He uses this device to enlarge everyday objects into deadly threats. Superman arrives to deal with them, but the Man of Steel is weakened by a flying saucer.

Later, the person aboard the flying saucer proclaims Superman to be the Emporer of Earth. An enraged Luthor comes out of hiding and uses the Kryptonite against his enemy. It has no effect, and Superman captures the scientist.

The saucer lands and the real Superman emerges from within. The other Superman was a robot. The ploy had been used simply to draw Luthor out of hiding.
