Synopsis:
Wealthy playboy Adam Adams is obsessed with being first at everything. When he learns about a crook, who is public enemy number one, Adams decides that he wants the title. Adams takes the name Mr. First, recruits a gang, then begins a crime spree centered on stealing "first" items.

At his first crime scene, Mr. First tangles with Green Lantern, and due to the bumbling of Doiby Dickles, he escapes. Green Lantern tries repeatedly to stop Mr. First. He finally consults public records to learn where the first house in Gotham City is located. He deduces that Adams is using the house for his hide-out. Green Lantern finds the house and Doiby, who was kidnapped, then captures Mr. First.
