Synopsis:
Aquaman attends a ceremony to unveil a statue made in his honor. When he arrives, he learns that the ceremony was called off, and the statue left incomplete. Over the next several days Aquaman begins ignoring his normal routine and places statues of himself on the seas. He is accused of being conceited and a board of inquiry begins to question him. Finally, the statues are destroyed by the Navy, and Aquaman can reveal the truth. The statues were part of a secret Navy weapons experiment. Aquaman pretended to be conceited, so that international spies would not discover that the statues contained secret devices critical to the experiment. Following the explanation, Aquaman reputation is restored.
