Synopsis:
Aquaman vouches for captain Alan Doktor to get him a job as the pilot for a shipping line. Alan then puts the ship in danger with a series of daredevil stunts. After Aquaman is forced to save the ship twice, he withdraws his support. Alan is then fired.

Disgraced, Alan is approached by gangsters led by Joe Perp. They want him to pilot a ship to a small island guarded by marines to retrieve stolen loot. Alan accepts the offer, but turns the gangsters over to the coast guard. Alan was working with Aquaman all along and his dangerous stunts were intentionally designed so that Perp would contact him.
