When a tip comes in that Clark Kent is to be a murder target, Wells disguises himself as Clark. The crooks arrive and fall for the disguise, kidnapping Wells and Lois. Superman rescues Lois, but Pointdexter makes his own escape with a practical joke on the mobster. With the crooks in custody the reporters return to the Daily Planet.
