Synopsis:
Wilbur Wolfingham sells half his interest in an arctic mining claim to real estate developer Jack Muldoon. The claim located near a hot springs is worthless, but Muldoon wants to turn the area into a tropical paradise.

Months later a passing plane carrying Clark Kent spots Muldoon alone in the arctic. Superman comes to the developer's aid, but it appears that Muldoon is dying. Superman decides to perform a good deed and relocates a tropical island to the arctic. Excited, Muldoon broadcasts the news on his radio.

Wolfingham, upon hearing the news, begins selling his stock to investors who believe the tropical conditions to be a permanent change. Superman knows they are temporary, so he sees that the investors and Muldoon get their money's worth from the investment. He also ensures that Wolfingham is unable to keep his misbegotten gains.
