Synopsis:
Two members of a yacht club, Gordon and Badger, wager on whether Gordon can sail across the Atlantic in his sailboat. On the trip, Gordon is attacked and his boat is nearly sunk.

Aquaman sees the attack and tries to help Gordon. However, Aquaman is puzzled about the motive behind the attack. Gordon blames Badger, but the Sea King knows the wager is small, and not worth the effort.

Aquaman then deduces that the wager and sailing trip are actually a ruse to disguise a smuggling operation. Gordon, who is smuggling jewels, was planning to doublecross Badger, his partner. Aquaman exposes the operation and the smugglers are taken into custody.
