Synopsis:
Captain Ebenezer Ligh is known for telling tall tales of his fishing adventures. The members of the Five-Fatom Fisherman's Club offer to let Captain Ligh join the club if he can catch a deep water fish.

Captain Ligh tries to catch a fish in deep water. Aquaman witnesses him catch one, but he knows the fish will explode due to the pressure change on the surface. Aquaman releases the fish, so Captain Ligh is unable to prove his catch to the club.

Captain Ligh returns to the water to try again. Aquaman feels bad that his intervention spoiled Ligh's catch, so he attempts to help. He sandwiches a fish in an oyster shell, then allows Captain Ligh to catch it. The captain is able to prove his story, but vows to give up telling tall tales.
