Synopsis:
Adam Strange returns to Rann to meet Alanna. She tells him the story of the legendary robot, Borg, who once menaced Ranagar, then they go on an expedition to the city of Moorl where Borg was created.

When Adam and Alanna begin their journey back to Ranagar, they encounter Borg himself. The robot uses its power to paralyze the couple, and cause their rocket packs to shoot them into space. Adam is able to prevent them from reaching the atmosphere and restores their mobility.

When they return to Ranagar, the machinery has gone wild making it difficult for Adam to defeat Borg. He eventually smashes the robot’s controls using a war hammer. Then he discovers that Borg was awakened by an experiment using a new metal alloy Alanna’s father Sardath had developed to allow her to visit Earth.
